Too bad that's the only side I can see,
Wish we could get closer.
That's the view from Kibbutz Misgav Am (where I'll be living in less than a month) over the border with Lebanon.

This week was literally crazy. In my 24.5 years, I've never studied as mush as I did this week, From organic chemistry, to fishes, to unorganic chemistry, via cell biology. wow. I felt like I am going to collapse. Who said a BSc in biotechnology is going to be easy?
On Sunday I had lab experiment which I didn't take part in. I definitely don't want to take any part in experiment that include animal. I don't think it's necessary in this part of my studies, I don't think it's necessary to "experience" it now. They can show us a video of these experiments or computerized experiments.
I stayed the weekend up north and as it seems, I am going to spend here a lot of time in the near future. In two wees I'll start my exams and I won't have time to breathe for sure. This weekend I stayed at home all weekend, shared my time between TV, internet, reading, looking for some articles regarding my work on HPV (haven't found anything interesting yet). and of course, my new lover, Dexter. the people who know me, know how I barely watch TV nor allegiance to any series. But this one really kept me busy.
I watched 10 episodes:| that's crazy.
I was all alone in the apartment but needed it more than ever, it was warm and quiet, I really wanted to go biking around today, but didn't have the chance to stop being a couch potato. but hey, I blame dexter for that. BTW, not that the brring, clubing scene is that fun here. I'd rather have the night life of Tel Aviv, with all the respest to where I live know. I kinda wanted to do something, but that something doesn't exist here I guess. The silence here can drive you to insanity. sometimes I love it. sometimes I amm scared by it.
I cooked for my self, bought a bottle of wine but didn't have the chance to open it, I made chicken curry. the best chicken curry ever! with white rice. I found out I really build a name of a cooker among my friends here, it is fun, I love cooking for them, and it flatters when they talk about my cooking

I terribly miss my dogs, and I miss my parents and some friends.
Hope this week will be a bit easier.
Ho how I missed this city.
the people, the vibe, the coffee shops, the streets, the traffics. yes, even that.
Me and Lalinka decided to drive to the holy city for a fun day.
we didn't have a special plan but I wanted to show her the places I love. so we first went to the German Colony, where I used to live. I showed her my house (from outside of course), and then we went to Smadar coffee in the Smadar cinema. it's a small and lovely coffee shop, which I used to spend my Friday mornings there. something in this place is so magical, always warm and cosy. we ordered a breakfast together. which left my tongue with a black mark:

after that we went to the city and walked around, it was a cold and rainy day, just as I love the city. I really wanted to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, but thinking of getting in to the Christian Quarter that day was a bit crazy. we finished our walk in Babet, a tiny place for belgian waffles. THE BEST BELGIAN WAFFLEs.

That's about it, I wanted to stay till the evening and to meet some friends, but didn't have the chance. may be next time.

so I found this gallery , which in my opinion very interesting.
I love his point of view.
Hope you'll find it interesting as I did.
it's been the second week here, and my first weekend. Slowly, I am getting used to the north, it's very different from the center. much more quite, very different vibes. everything is easier.
MY schedule is crazy, I am studying 8-122 hours a day that totally kills me, I hope I'll be able to keep on track. and I won't loose it.I got the chance to meet a lot of new people which is always fun. a bit difficult with the roommates, but it's something I was expecting. I am constantly tired lately, probably related to the low iron levels I've got. I know I should take care about it..
I had a great weekend, Keren came over, we traveled a lot around the area, and saw lots of cool animals. last night we cooked dinner and drank some wine, but were too lazy to go out, so we stayed in.
I think I like this place

Ok?
Good.

I went to see Quami last night, and I had a great time. It's been a while since the last time I went to a concert in Israel. Usually I don't go because I don't like th barbi and most of the good gigs are there, because it's always too packed, because it NEVER EVER starts on time (like happened yesterday) and some other reasons I am prevented from saying. (I want my blog to stay clean).
So I went with my Kfir (my brother) and I had great time with him as always and I am also glad we've got a lot in common when it comes to music.
The concert was full with good vibes and fun music. I got the chance to see people that I haven't seen in a while. even the sound was good.

Try this Gallery, I liked it and th Idea.
